I plan to buy a townhouse.? I plan to buy a townhouse. Stairs to second floor is carpeted. I do not like the color of the carpet. My wife says if I remove the carpet, there will be wood underneath and I did not even need to do everything so that the wood look good. It will be as good a wood floor? Is she right? I ask this because it is not safe.
Stairs in houses that are built to be carpeted are not good wood underneath. It would be ridiculous. The stairs are built to a carpet rolling down the middle are constructed of hardwood so good that if you wanted to get rid of the carpet that you have a timber though if you choose to expose it all. "Your wife does not go on it unless you have bought an old house that someone has chosen to cover the hardwood good for some reason. Most houses the most recent past 20 years are not built that way. So, your home should be a historic house, if possible.
Well, if you like the place, it's a good thing. For me personally, I like the country with lots of space.
The carpet you want to remove ... You can delete it. There should be a basement, it is built correctly. Are there stains on the carpet that sag down as it is held with a lot of advice tic-tac-toe? If yes, you want to work carefully. Remove half of the carpet, floor it properly, then remove the second half. You might get professionals to do it for you so, but it costs money. I love free stuff.
When I pulled the carpet from my stairs, I have refinished hardwood floors, not forgetting that there were many patches on the top front and bottom of the stairs rise because of the nails and staples they used for the carpet. But they look good now! They even tinted the wooden stairs to meet others in the rest of the house.
My money is going to play this sub-floor and tread material stretches will be plywood or OSB. . . neither will look good and both will be covered.

No, it does not sound right. Just take the carpet and pay for the wood floor. If there is wood under there, I bet he looks like shit.
