Tiny Home PlansTiny Home for a Small Planet

It has been suggested recently in a national daily that we must all start thinking "the tiny house for a Small Planet" - an interesting concept. However, it seems a concept that is very UN-North America, since we are all accustomed to house twice the size, for example, our European counterparts.

How do they live in these houses? Do we? Should we? How could we intend to reduce our own living space without sacrificing the ease and efficiency of our lifestyle?

These questions might sound afraid, still less, if we consider the simplified design of motorhomes and trailers fifth wheels. The benefits of living in small houses are fairly obvious: less land, less property tax, building materials less, less space to heat, under floor to carpet - you get the idea! The overall picture of periods of a life that costs less to live. More money to enjoy!

If you've ever thought about downsizing (and in these days of food and energy costs, many of us have!) One of the first questions that arises is that what could we do without? Or rather, what would we do without?
Nothing.
Right!

So where is the wasted space that we can make it disappear? This is the best response by examining how each of us live. National Movement Builders offers a way to streamline our living space is to realize that we use it for.

This can be done by writing a list of all the activities we do in the house, where we're recording and mapping the exact portion of the room that we already in. You can probably think of 'used "parts of parts.

Once you have these planned activities, you can understand that only certain parts of each part is necessary, and you can schedule a home with the new great room "design and integrate all of your life needs in one place. While giving a spacious feeling, this idea could actually put in square feet, because it eliminates the corridors and doors (not to mention a whole room!).

Two or three areas represent obvious waste of space for many designers, these are the following: dining rooms, bathrooms and garage.

In the case of the formal dining room, if yours is used only three or four times a year, without one view management. Problem here: many of us do not always want to have an atmosphere to eat from time to time.

However, it is possible to set up a kitchen / dining area so that the atmosphere could be changed to "formal" but only when necessary. This would be achieved through the intelligent use of lighting and non-invasive system for separating the two functions of food consumption and food preparation.

Use furniture or decorative sliding is also an option that could be used only when the formal atmosphere is necessary. In a new home which could save up to 100 square feet and several thousand dollars.

Then the bathroom and the realization that most of us use it as a reading room, a boudoir for makeup application or to escape a minute of peace from the children! If we had a bathroom in place more efficient we could manage with only one bathroom!

The European idea of separating the tub / shower from the toilet means that real people can pop in and out of the smallest room of the house more quickly because there is not much interest there!

In the room that appeal to European toilets there is no mirror (if teenagers do not drag!) And there is a small basin that extends approximately nine inches from the wall to the hand-rinse form. This room is very small - no need to dwell!

The garage, even if you have one, can be converted into a series of step-parent or teenage den right by a simple insulation and drywall job. A car port offers almost as much protection to a car and garage in temperate climates. If the man of the house is chafing little cunt.
