Smith Senior Living

Smith Senior LivingYou say that the gas tax will not help. $ 27.00 $ is a lot. I am a senior on the DSS, I can do a lot w $ 27.00.?

You say that the gas tax is not useful. I am a senior citizen, living in the DSS. My income is below the federal poverty level. $ 27.00 is a lot of money to me and others like me.
I can make that amount of money to go very far. I buy my groceries using coupons and buying the most products that are available for sale. I use what I buy if I can use a product more than a means.
I guess you get the message, Regards, Smith Vet

I agree nothing will help, we must travel 56 miles one way just to see a doctor, we have no public transportation or bus service, many of us must try to make appointments and split gas cost.

Vet disabled here.

Have you considered using a bus pass instead?

The problem is that we, the consumers might not even see the delivery of gas prices. It is likely that the gas companies will lower gas prices by a fraction of the $ 27 and pocket the rest. It is a small relief for a relatively insignificant period of time very short.

This is the old box shuffle whenever the government "saves" a tax just waiting for a devil to another.

Define a lot! I am also below the poverty level and the gas thing is no big deal, just another obstacle in life. I plan my trips and cruises are not around me get my shopping Bee Line and back. The $ 27.00 mass would do little to make my life easier.

What or prevent oil companies from increasing prices even higher, knowing that people do not pay gas taxes.

Some people have no access to public transport nearby. And I do not drive when I absolutely, and I can get out of having to meet once a month at best. But. you still have to pay for your car insurance. Wow, they are considering (at least Clinton) waiver of the tax on gasoline. Throw a dog a bone! Give me a break!
There are millions and therefore the gas company.
How is this going to help those on fixed incomes, and the everyday Joe. trying to get by in this recession we do not have!

Reducing the tax on gasoline that rising elsewhere. How about you give us more money Vets and cut other unnecessary crap?

I can think of a lot of pork projects that are pure bovine scatology. Cut and obtain the most useful programs that they will get a return on.

As indicated above, the gas companies just make the difference by raising prices.

I am sure you will enjoy your roads are pothole costs or bridges are safe, or other road projects nearing completion. This fund money for these projects.

Obviously, $ 27 might seem like a drop in the general fund, but multiply that by hundreds of millions, and it is a tidy sum that will not be available.

hey $ 27 built many bridges, repair roads and many of the movements of persons allocated to mass transit. We need to bite the bullet and to explore and drill in areas off limits as a temporary measure, effective build new refineries, develop alternative energy systems such as gas in this way nuclear decline
but more importantly is to have control negotiations to reduce volatility in the market
Am sorry for your loss of $ 27, but it is necessary for the good of country
