Dear XXXXXX
FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST: 0669-07
I am writing in response to your e-mail dated July 27, 2007 requesting information on how the services of Clarence Mitchell to Dr. Gerald and Kate McCann cost the taxpayer.
In accordance with the Civil Service Management Code, the FCO reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred by Clarence Mitchell in the exercise of consular functions to support the McCann family in exceptional circumstances. These include the cost of his return flight, accommodation and subsistence. The total is £ 6230.90. There will be no additional costs to the taxpayer.
If you are not satisfied with the service you received from your application and you have a complaint or request an internal review of our decision, you should write to me.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome of your complaint, you can apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision. Typically, the ICO can not make decisions unless you have exhausted the complaints procedure provided that the FCO. The Information Commissioner can be contacted at: Office of the Information Commissioner, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF.
Please contact me if you have any questions about this letter.
Sincerely,

I thought the company was supposed to be meeting ALL costs. I did not know me personally, as a taxpayer, would be part of it up.

Oh please ... I'm not Bovered I am! Over the declaration of the response.
And let me tell you where I'm standing on some of your minds become so small that it beggars belief.
I am not surprised Jack cos someone posted the other day.
Is it a good value? I do not know, I'm not entirely sure what it was, he actually did and whether such support is available to all families of missing children on public money - if so so I guess it?
How can I contact you.
