RCGA and USGA handicap? This will be my first season to keep track of my handicap. Canadian Im so im using disability of the RCGA. What I want to do, what's the difference between a RCGA Handicap and USGA handicap. I know that if you have a USGA handicap that no matter what your handicap is a typical cycle for you (if u have a 90handicap 90 is an average score). How it works for the RCGA? So if you have a disability which would be a 14.1 scoring typical round for you?
If you read this, understand what im asking questions and then answered Thanks
Your handicap is based on your potential, not average. You play to your handicap 1 in 4 or 5 laps. If you have a 14.1, the best 50 percent of your scores averaged about 14 on the course code.
sensfan Hi,
try this site better link for all orientations of the CAP Handi-you see here: http://www.rcga.org
Just so you have your facts before you ask this again ... USGA handicaps are not a representation of your score.
Official USGA handicap index is based on the 10 best scored the last 20 multiplied by the slope during over113 by 0.96. The handicap of the club is based on the total top 10 of last 20 scores, subtract 10 by X and take 1/10th of your disability is.
