Serenity Bay is located about 8 miles west of Wilkesboro about 1 / 2 mile north of Highway 268. It is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains located between Asheville, Greensboro, Boone, and Charlotte, with quick access to Highway 421 & I-77.

Wilkes County has a population of about 65,000 people, with the town of Wilkesboro & North Wilkesboro having a combined population of about 8,000. From Wilkesboro, you can take excursions to the beach or go snow skiing in the mountains. With an average temperature of 77 degrees during July, it is not surprising that this region has become so popular.
