Rich in civil war stories of apparitions and ghosts of former hospital patients in Maryland is a state that has a colorful history of the paranormal. Today we'll focus on some homes that have earned the reputation of being haunted, fearful in case you're in the market of certain real estate haunted by your choice.

Also in Ellicott is a house known as Lilburn. He is reputed to be one of the most haunted places in the State of Maryland. There is constant speculation about who is really haunting the house, like a number of people died on the scene. inexplicable noises, Windows refuses to stay closed, and strong smells in the empty rooms are just some of the events reported by witnesses. One member of staff of the home also reported seeing the ghostly figures of a man and a young girl wandering, and hearing the cry of a child from one of the rooms.

In the city of Urbana unincorporated, Landon House has become particularly famous for its dog house spirit. In the early days of the house, a large number of dogs died in the basement, leaving panicked scratches on the walls and the spiritual energy in abeyance. The dogs were heard barking by a number of witnesses over the years, without any rational explanation. In most dogs, the appearance of a friendly female spirit has been spotted on the estate, and the specter of a civil war officer.

By Perryman, the legend of the White House Perryman has grown over the years thanks to its remote location and imposing manners. It has not been lived in a number of years, and fell into a state of disrepair. joint reports include mysterious voices, smells horrible, and collections of animal bones both in and outside the house.

Finally, visitors to Towson's Mansion Hampton heard glass breaking and China, and the din of lamps, where no object has been found. A former butler has also been seen prowling around the house from time to time, apparently unaware that he has long since been dismissed.
