I could not vote for Hillary in Florida because I was an independent reigistered. Plus you must register 29 days before the election so that your out of luck and now I'm stuck as a Democrat for the primaries.

Party affiliation applies only to primary elections. You can vote for whomever you want in the general election. Mix It Up, whatever. Make a big ole 'salad. Here we go anyway.

Yes, you can vote for anyone in the general election ... you can write in Mickey Mouse, if you choose this major, you will not be able to vote in.
