How much would you rent this house? We're getting closer to family and from teaching positions in August, but have a very difficult time to sell our house with the market the way it is. We hoped to be by the end of June, but there was very little prospect of serious purchase. Now we plan to rent our house until the market picks back up. The house is 3/2/2 in a community golf course 25 miles outside of Houston. The house is in good condition, built in 1980, with many trees, large living room, 1,400 square feet in total. We have 81,000 on it, and it is listed at 98,500 today. Our mortgage is 875 per month plus 40 per month for the costs of Hoa. What do you want to list your home, make sure you make enough extra to put aside for issues that arise?
This site is like Zillow.com, but for the rental market data:
http://www.Zilpy.com
It will give you a very good idea and what good houses like yours are close to leasing.
What happens to the type of blade, but you must rent it for what people will pay. You could not necessarily the amount of money to pay your mortgage plus $ 40. Get a Sunday paper and see what similar houses are for rent. I rent my house once and I turned the whole process a rental management company. They took applications, sorted and selected the tenant and the rent collected and saw all the necessary repairs. Yes, you will pay, but do to protect your investment.
You can rent for any tenant is willing to pay. Your personal finances are not part of the equation. You can and can not see a positive cash flow from rental - whether you need to add up the numbers and decide if leasing is right for you. Link below to Houston to craigslist you can get an idea of what other properties in your area are renting for. Good luck!
Update: Being an owner is not so difficult - you can put a lot of money by managing yourself.
You rent calculation incorrectly.
How much will this cost is irrelevant. Neither the trees or the square footage.
You need to know what other houses, with an equal number of bedrooms are renting your community golf course. That's what you can get.
try craigslist
www.craigslist.com
There are probably other sites as well ..
sure tenants can be real pigs .......
stay until the place is filthy dirty and it takes a month or more for you to clean ..
My last tenant won .. washer and dryer ...... yes yes .. you can report it on the desk of credit ...... but she had 5 children .. so I sucked up ..... .
ultimate ..... your home will never be the same after ...... ....... Leased
If your house is empty ... and you try to reduce the price you can get an offer ....... My last house was sold when it was empty and vacant ........ and all the stuff to .. buyers could see the brand .. new carpet, new paint, etc. ...
