Home Bar Ideas

Home Bar IdeasAny ideas out there on the conversion of a home bar (cabinet) in a desktop computer CLASET?

We have a house in 1982, which has a bar in the hall. We recently had the water damage and the need to rebuild the area. We would like to make a desk for your computer. Any ideas or reference material?

I had a closet in the room downstairs, that I turned in my computer area. I bought a piece of 6 feet of the cup counter to the rear two holes for cables and son to maintain the superior clean.
hung on the wall shelves and disk devices and books. I hung folding doors so that its security and private if someone is in the guest room

I made my last apartment ... used an old wooden door solid as the desktop. Used to keep files in place. What was really nice I went to Home Depot and I have charcoal gray indoor / outdoor carpet that I used to cover walls and office. I used a large square of Plexiglas on top of that and my optical mouse worked great on him. Then I bought 1x3 boards to hang the shelves of the length of the wardrobe ... used small L-shaped brackets with the background hidden behind the carpet (with a small horizontal slit and sliding). Everything looked very nice and seemed to float away. I put the speakers on shelves, as well as the wireless transmitter thingies and hid USB cords and speaker cable behind the carpet. Kept everything nice and neat. I also had my webcam on the shelf with the cord hidden. Remember to configure your computer directly on a carpet or make static. I have a huge oak dining room table with four leaves and I actually used one of the leaves along the back on the desktop to the computer and stuff on. You can buy the hardware to mount the KB under the desk to give you more desktop space. If the closet is not large enough for files, you can use a convenient if it is not too deep for the above table. This gives you a place to store your business and can also hide all the cables and stuff behind him. (Just make sure you still have legs!) The carpet on the walls looks really nice without the cabinet "Search .. and is easy to identify things that you do not need a bulletin board good luck!
