Do Greek villas have protective or is it a British thing? If they do, what are they called? LOL no it's something British - have Balones - anyhing out a little wind during the summer months !!!!!
No, because the climate in Greece is such that would not justify such a thing.
Why thumbs down? Conservatories are essentially glass houses, used to keep the plants or simply the accumulation of heat in cooler climates. In Greece, such a thing would be a sauna, plants grow well outside, and thus neither traditional nor modern architecture has used this construction.
Differences in climate do not require closed glass regions of Greece.
