Greek Revival House Plans

They have always existed and that is why the classic Home Plan may be the right choice when the desire for a "class" of residence is an ideal choice. There are several styles for a definable level classic home so that the range of models is not limited. Many plans custom homes are centered around a classic design and the house may contain elements that define the structure of Italian neo-Greek empire or Palladian style.

The Italian style was introduced in the United States in the 1830s and have generally been two to four structures designed to resemble the history of northern Italian villas. Another classic style home plan is the neo-Greek. Greek styles were popular in the years between 1830 and 1860 and represented a political preference to the Greek ideal of democracy. The big famous brand seen in Gone with the Wind is an example of how the style was preferred in the Deep South plantation.
