French Country ArchitectureDouble Major in French?

So I'm schooll high and my parents are pressuring me to understand what I want to be when I grow up. And I want to study French, one, because I want to learn French fluently, and two, I'm really good at it so far. But when I'm studying French at school that I want to do something in France or other French speaking countries instead of staying here in the U.S. and teaching, etc. I'm not in jobs such as advertising and business, even if they are good for career French speakers. One career I envisioned was an architect, but it would be difficult with a major in French and in architecture, at the same time. It is someone out there have ideas on what could be my other major? or what I can do with a major in French (apart from education and business etc. ..)?

Your major problem will be to obtain the right to work in France or if you have the right of residence by Union blood or marriage.

Im sorry to say, but nobody is France going to them because you're French, you major. Everyone in France speak French already, it is not you qualify for a job. Why do not you major in another subject, and minor in French? or simply take French as a hobby. I live in a French company.
