Compare Home Phone Plans

I live in the U.S. now and I finally canceled my account Australian mobile phone which was on international roaming for months.

The price plans are really, really horrible compared to home, but the roaming charges: the phone is unusable for anything but emergencies.

What I want to do is get an account with a local phone number again, but keep my current phone. Back home I would just get a new SIM card and slip it into my phone, but my phone has been American woman does not seem to have removable SIM and I can not find something to use (if ) here.

most likely going to go to Virgin Mobile, as my wife Im but I much prefer being able to just get a SIM slot and in my old phone. Does anyone know if this is a possibility?

Some phones T-Mobile uses SIM cards, but I'm not sure if it would work. This is probably not very useful for you, but hey, at least you know T-Mobile might be a good possibility.

In addition, Virgin Mobile sucks. This is not good. Try to get a phone company that can meet your needs other than Virgin Mobile.
But if you have chosen Virgin Mobile, keep in mind they do not use SIM cards, but like other businesses CDMA (Alltel, Verizon, AT & T)

If you want to go with Vrigin United States, which is yours. However, the Virgin does not use the SIM card technology, they use CDMA. Who, in my opinion is a better configuration because it has better coverage in the U.S. rather than abroad.
