What style House Is This 1890? Can someone help me here please. What name of the architectural design would you call this old house? It is square and completely symmetrical, except on the first floor before the door is on the left and a window on the right (rather than a door centered). It has a porch with its own little roof almost entirely on the front with three pillars of square posts. The second floor has two windows and there is even a skylight? above where the attic is. The roof peaks of all four sides and is about 15 inches or so fake all around. Inside, a lobby with living room or living room on the right and the stairs on the left. There is another door, just behind the lobby dining room. Behind the lounge is a room that resembles a bedroom because she has a closet, behind the dining room and a bath are on the left and kitchen on the right. then move to the back of the first floor are the laundry room and mud on the left and a family room (or old room) behind the kitchen. The living room has a window and looks like a chimney has been replaced by a stove to the chimney remains, but no chimney and there is a blanket of smoke. Pocket doors lead to the room. The exterior of the house is quite simple, no shutters, the sculptures of fantasy, or indices buckled. This is not a Victorian, Spanish, Mediterranean, or craftsman. Is it "old farm" or "federal" or something else? Is it "Foursquare"? There has been some renovations over the years (inside) and currently has siding on the outside and is painted white. A covered walkway from the locker room next to the garage or (old house car) was added. In the garage there is a little ice room "and an area that could be like canning or something. appreciate your help. Oh, there is no basement floor and it seems there might be a girls room, sewing room, in addition to three bedrooms. The bathroom is huge ... seems to have been the source of a room (a closet).
Without a picture to, I would say that the American Foursquare.
